Study/Intern Abroad

Our study/Intern abroad program provides students with exciting opportunities that empower them to be independent, open minded and successful adults prepared to navigate and take on the world. We are one of the most affordable international experiential learning organizations available offering study abroad and internship opportunities. We assist with the entire visa process to help make this experience as stress free as possible and through our local partners, we provide free accommodation, room and board and local transportation to all students enrolled in college or university interning abroad with us. Fundraising support is available to help students pay for the cost of their program. This helps to reduce the cost of travel to make this affordable to as many students.

Intern Abroad

We assist students considering “Build Your Own Internship,” program at their colleges or universities to research and secure internships while working with the Global Education Office at their College or university to earn academic credit. We help Students find their internship, housing and make their travel arrangements. Students are matched with an employer based on their interests/experiences and the employer’s hiring needs. All students are matched based on their level in the field of study regardless of their experience levels.

Our facilities are fully equipped with amenities such as a computer lab with high-speed internet to enable them to complete their course work and communicate with their prospective institutions whiles interning abroad with us.

International Internship Opportunities

Tourism and Hospitality

This program offers an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about diverse cultures while gaining practical experience in the dynamic field of travel and hospitality. Participants experience hands-on involvement in various aspects of the tourism and hospitality industry, including hotel management, event planning, customer service, marketing, and cultural exchange. Interns collaborate with local tourism organizations, hotels, restaurants, and event venues, contributing to the seamless execution of guest experiences, promoting local attractions, and enhancing the overall quality of travel services. interns develop valuable interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a keen understanding of customer preferences and global travel trends.

Nonprofit Management

This program offers opportunities for individuals passionate about making a difference and a lasting impact on the world. Interns are thrown into the depth of sustainable community work and explore their desire to provide life changing services. Projects may include community outreach events, assisting with fundraisers, preparing and writing grant documents, and research.

Interns are exposed to the work environment of nonprofit organizations, which helps them to learn about how nonprofits operate. It also gives interns unique cultural perspectives in a completely different country. Our program require interns to work both independently and as a team. All of these life long experiences are useful in a field like nonprofit work.

Education

This program offers Education interns the opportunity to work in primary, secondary, post-secondary and private institutions. The role of an Education intern is to assist local educators by supporting and promoting learning in the classroom and the community. Past interns have taught or co-taught classes as well as assisted with curriculum development, implemented teaching strategies, conducted educational outreach activities in the community, and tutored students and their families. Many interns work in English language education, though interns with a background in a specific field and proficiency in the local language may also work in other subjects.

If you are an Education major and are required to complete a student teaching semester, our Education internship can be customized to meet your university’s requirements.

Social Work

This program offers an opportunity for Social Work interns to use their unique skill set to combat problems in the community head-on in a way that can have a global impact. International social work interns usually work with nonprofit or government organizations, assisting with public outreach and education programs or working with individual clients. Interns may help counsel clients and provide them with resources, prepare reports for funding agencies, update and manage client files, or help develop and deliver public awareness programs. Some research and administrative support work may also be part of interns’ responsibilities.

Performing Arts

This program offers interns the opportunity to Learn, explore, and expose themselves to the theater, dance and music on a global stage. interns are placed at the forefront of production in theater, film, music and dance. Interns work with actors, stage managers, directors, and stage crew in the making of plays, concerts, or dances.

Healthcare

This program offers opportunities for interns to gain valuable career knowledge. It involves working on administrative work, public health initiatives, conducting medical research, working within healthcare facilities. assist local health care professionals in underfunded hospitals, write reports and articles about healthcare topics, and learn about traditional medicine and alternative treatments. interns shadow healthcare professionals and learn about their work.

Agricultural Sciences

This program offers interns the opportunity to learn about life in the rural areas or “villages” of their host countries. They work to analyze the impact of farming practices and help to implement new, more sustainable, and cost-effective models, which includes research, administrative support, analyzing the business, environmental, and social impact of farming practices, developing crop optimization models, inspecting animals for diseases and pests, and creating analyses and reports on crops.

Advertising

This program offers interns the opportunity the chance to experience the different processes that build a successful advertising campaign. These include researching and analyzing market trends, strategizing on brand image, and planning new marketing initiatives. Their tasks includes participating in online advertising projects, developing media kits, designing print advertisements, conducting client research, assisting with copywriting, or providing administrative support, whiles learning more about international media and the different approaches of advertisers around the globe.

Public Health

This program provides opportunity for interns to work with international communities and gain lifelong world experience. interns participate in rounds in public hospitals, assist doctors and nurses in private clinics, or collaborate with local organizations that focus on the promotion of healthier lifestyles and behaviors in their surrounding communities. Assigned tasks include shadowing health professionals attending to outpatient care, assisting with market research, or educating on the prevention of illnesses and diseases that may affect the local community.

Nutrition

This program offers the opportunity for interns to work alongside experienced professionals in new working environments their skillset and mindset. It is a great chance to Work abroad, cross examine cultural differences, market research and what it takes to get the best out of our food

Interns learn about issues international communities face in regard to nutrition and food safety, allows interns to observe and gain a deeper perspective in the field of nutrition, learning how different cultures view and resolve their nutritional difficulties.

Youth Development

This program provides interns the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people by engaging in activities, be involved in their communities, and take pride in their own skills, actions, and successes. Working with experienced youth workers, interns assist with activities and projects such as developing and implementing training workshops and coaching sports, summer or winter educational camps, where they help plan activities.

Working abroad in the field of sports gives interns the chance to learn about how the challenges of coaching and managing an athletic team are approached in different places. interns work with marketing and promotion of the team, event planning and coordination, and managing the facilities and business of an athletic organization. Interns interested in coaching also work with team coaches to train athletes and may be responsible for providing administrative support

Museum and Cultural Management

This program offers a unique opportunity for participants to gain deep cultural understanding and appreciation for arts from being ingrained in nation in which they intern. Cultural management interns are exposed to the cultural artifacts, customs, and artists that give a country its individual identity as well as its connection to others. Learning about the broader work of cultural organizations and museum is a way to develop valuable skills and also foster a more well-rounded character.
